Symptoms
Young leaves show yellogreen mottling, caused by interveinal chlorosis. Leaf blades are enlarged.

Reasons
Manganese deficiency Over-liming, the occurrence of very loose, highly aerated soils and also drought render Mn less available. Crops grown in high organic matter, in peat soils or substrates also suffer from poor Mn availibility.
