Magnesium deficiency causes interveinal yellowing on older leaves first.
Discoloration intensifies on leaf tips and leaf margin. These areas become completely yellow, veins included.
Then chlorosis proceeds towards the petiole attachment point.
Leaf base remains green for the longest time.
At prolonged deficiency younger leaves are affected too.
