Symptoms
At the beginning, interveinal chlorosis is observed on the leaflets of the youngest fronds. It proceeds from the leaf tip towards the leaf base.
At a later stage, the whole frond becomes pale green or white and chlorosis expands to lower fronds, too.

Iron deficiency
Fe deficiency is very rare in oil palm grown on acid tropical soils.
Symptoms

At a later stage, the whole frond becomes pale green to white and chlorosis expands to lower fronds, too.
